Delex Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of ZENETEX, specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. This position supports the F-35 Sustainment Development Team and Joint Strike Fighter Program Office (JSFPO) in Crystal City, VA.  

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Have experience with Acquisition Documentation including the Autonomic Logistics Planning Document (ALPD), Facilities Requirements Document (FRD), Site Activation Plan, Affordability Sustainment Integration Strategy (ASIS), and Weapons System Planning Document (WSPD).  To provide input and evaluate program documentation to leverage affordability principles, process and methods to include Sustainment life cycle affordability impacts with sound business practices and the degree of risk involved
  • Investigate/analyze/update resource requirements with multi-year acquisition and support plans for the development of Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and budget inputs
  • Participate in and/or perform Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA), and Affordability Initiative analysis, development and reviews
  • Assist and coordinate the integration of affordability analyses and initiatives 

Education and Experience Requirements

Experience Requirements 

  • Knowledge of fighter aircraft maintenance practices and policies
  • Knowledge and experience in Supportability, Reliability and Maintainability metrics
  • Knowledge and experience in acquisition logistics processes (MTA, LORA, LSA, maintenance planning, PBL, BCA, etc.) and the depot logistics support system structure 

 Desired Education and Experience 

  • A degree in logistics management or an engineering discipline is highly desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree plus eight (8) years of experience in logistics resource requirements analysis. 
    • ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional eight (8) years of relevant logistics support analysis experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
    • ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION:  Master’s degree may be substituted for two (2) years of resource analysis experience
  • A minimum of four years of experience supervising and directing at least three logistics analysts in the performance of comprehensive analyses across the full spectrum of design interface and maintenance planning and a minimum of four years of experience in acquisition Level of Repair (LOR) analysis, maintenance planning, logistics support/supportability analysis or operational availability analysis while working for or supporting an acquisition command
  •  A minimum of two years of experience in any of the following: Reliability and Maintainability Analysis, Logistics Support Analysis/Supportability Analysis, Operational Availability Analysis, Life Cycle Costing 

Security Clearance

This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance.
