 Delex Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of ZENETEX, is seeking a full-time HR Tech/Admin Specialist to support a customer site in Columbia, MD.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The qualified individual will be responsible for providing HR and admin support across a broad spectrum of functional areas to include Program Office, Chief of Staff, and Office Manager. This candidate will be responsible for day-to-day administrative office functions and serve as alternate representative for coordination of all HR actions between the Program office and a DoD Human Capital Office (HCO) to include: 

 writing and staffing all DoD billet position descriptions, vacancy announcements and other personnel actions;

 initiating all DoD HR actions as well as creating all supporting HR documents related to every aspect of HR support

 serving as Program Office's  Time and Attendance process alternate officer responsible for all aspects of payroll, this includes policy compliance for data input and submission of requirement and correct documents

 assisting in managing a DoD travel program

 assisting in administering personnel service support program to include processing and orientation of newly assigned personnel and out processing of outgoing personnel

 act as Program Office alternate Training Officer, managing correspondence, tracking to include incoming/outgoing mail and drafts. Staffs and implements internal admin guidelines

 assists Program Office as Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) alternative dispute resolution counselor

• periodically performs executive assistant duties for senior DoD personnel, including phone call management, calendar management, and welcoming visitors

Education and Experience Requirements

· A valid driver's license

· Associates Degree with general experience in HR processes or High School Diploma or GED  with 2 years' experience in HR processes

· Excellent English writing, grammar, and technical editing skills

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with management, employees and customers

· Proficient with applications of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

· Ability to exercise confidentiality and diplomacy in handling sensitive personnel information and dealing with senior DoD personnel

· A Top Secret clearance based on a current SSBI

Security Clearance

  • This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance based on a current SSBI.
