Delex Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of ZENETEX, is seeking a former US Navy Aviator with tactical/operational experience with platforms using the Harpoon Weapon system.  This position is hourly, as tasked, and would be an opportunity for someone who is already employed and interested in picking up additional part-time work. Travel in the US and abroad is a requirement for this position (25%), as is a SECRET clearance.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Subject Matter Expert works with a team to develop training programs and services, including 

-Tactical manuals
-Tactics training courses
-Computer aided instruction
-Computer based training
-Computer simulations

Specifically, the SME:
-Identifies appropriate source materials used in developing training materials
-Works with Instructional Systems Designers to identify training objectives
-Develops technical content for curriculum products
-Reviews completed training deliverables prior to release to the customer
-Instructs weapon systems tactical employment courses in the US and abroad
-Participates in technical and program meetings in the US and abroad

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Recent USN Active Duty Junior Officer

  • Minimum of 3 years operational Navy experience, including at least one year with the Harpoon Weapon System

  • Knowledge of USN Tactical Doctrine with Combat Systems experience

  • Secret clearance is required (Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.)  Accordingly, US Citizenship is required.

  • Anti-surface Warfare (ASUW) experience is required

  • Instructor experience is desired

  • Familiarity with computers/computer based training is desired

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills are required

  • Strong writing and presentation skills are required

Security Clearance

  • This position will require U.S. citizenship and a secret security clearance.
