ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. We have an opportunity in Orlando, FL for a Project Manager to support our Littoral Combat Ship configuration management team. This position will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of training device baselines and coordination of change management processes.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Project Manager will provide support in the development and implementation of a life-cycle sustainment program for all LCS Training Facilities (LTFs) including, but not limited to, the following:
  • Establishment of training device product baselines
  • Establishment of software baselines
  • Organization and maintenance of a configuration managed database consisting of the following data:
    • Training device PCA and FCA baselines
    • Associated training device technical and user documentation
    • Associated training device curricula
    • Associated training device software
  • Apply version control across multiple training device hardware and software releases
  • Support all assigned logistics management efforts
  • Provide inputs to life-cycle documents, in-process reviews, supportability analyses, review of Government-Furnished Information (GFI) and contract data submittals, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) analyses and studies, PCAs, FCAs, inventory management, and investigations of support requirements

Education and Experience Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, business, management, or related technical field
  • Strong Configuration Management background, with an ability to organize and manipulate large amounts of configuration data
  • Project management background
  • Knowledge and experience working with the Navy Data Environment Configuration Data Managers Database-Open Architecture (CDMD-OA)
  • Knowledge, skill, and experience in the application of logistics support management principles, concepts, and methodology in a variety of difficult and complex logistic projects
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and other technical data
  • Ability to organize and manipulate large amounts of configuration data
  • Ability to manage several assigned work activities at one time
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge of government logistics management policies and procedures including life-cycle sustainment planning

Specific Microsoft Project Experience Requirements

  • Set baselines
  • Adjust baselines
  • Update Project with actual finish of tasks and perform analysis on schedule impacts
  • Resource loading



  • Knowledge of the Littoral Combat Ship (both variants)
  • Knowledge and experience working with one or more Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool applications
  • Experience with one or more of the following systems: Diminishing Manufacturing Sources & Material Shortages (DMSMS); Cost Estimating; Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Analysis; Supply Chain Management (SCM); Supportability Analysis
  • Experience conducting Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs), Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs), and Configuration Status Accounting (CSAs) audits including the disposition of resulting data
  • Participation in Change Control Board (CCB) processes
  • Experience as a logistics manager working on US Navy programs

Security Clearance

  • This position will require an active DoD Secret clearance
