Overview

Delex Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of ZENETEX, is seeking a Part-Time Anti-Tamper Engineer. This engineer will provide support to the program manager and chief engineer for a DoD tactical weapon acquisition program. This position is located at NAS Patuxent River, MD.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide AT engineering support for the integration of avionics subsystems
  • This support will include identification and protection of Critical Program Information (CPI) and analysis, development and implementation of AT solutions
  • Identify program CPI and support technology evaluation and assessment
  • Conduct AT planning and support development of the Program Protection Plan (PPP)
  • Support the systems engineering approach that defines the AT concept
  • Support development of the AT validation and verification plan
  • Participate in meetings, teleconferences, program reviews, integration, verification and validation events, Cybersecurity tests, and technical demonstrations
  • Analyze and assess validation/verification results and test and evaluation results
  • Provide the full range of AT engineering support processes for systems during all life-cycle stages
  • Interface with a variety of integrated team personnel

Education and Experience Requirements

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Engineering experience with an ACAT major acquisition program
  • Experience with one or more of the following types of systems: air, surface or sub launched weapons; precision guided weapons; smart weapons; standoff weapons; cruise missiles; anti-ship weapons; mission planning systems
  • Experience with one or more of the following technologies: weapon system survivability; electronic countermeasures, electronic attack, or electronic protection systems, weapon/launch platform integration
  • Demonstrated ability to perform detailed development and technical analysis of anti-tamper capabilities
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DoD acquisition and technical documentation in support of anti-tamper efforts
  • Experience working within a classified program environment

REQUIREMENTS

  • US Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related technical or scientific field is required. An advanced degree, particularly Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, desired
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in AT, cybersecurity or information assurance engineering required. Work experience at NAVAIR strongly desired
  • Must possess an active Top-Secret clearance with background investigation completed within the past 5 years

Security Clearance

  • This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance
