    Zenetex specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations.We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and detail-oriented Contracts Analyst to join our team. This position will be based in our California, MD office.  

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Performs all duties of contract administration, including negotiation, correspondence, documentation, certification, financial reporting, and product delivery for all major contracts. 
    • Coordinates approval of negotiations and subcontracts with appropriate management staff.
    • Provides advice and interpretation of contract and subcontract requirements.
    • Prepares, receives, and reviews subcontract agreements, purchase orders, amendments, cost to completions, option year estimates, and limitation of funds notifications. 
    • Prepares and reviews Representations and Certifications.
    • Coordinates with program managers and business financial analysts to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled.
    • Generates reports on contract activity and progress as required.
    • Provides financial, contract management, and administrative support as needed.
    • Processes contract files for closeout activities and prepares for review and approval by management staff.
    • Interacts with various individuals; upper management, teammates, customers, and subcontractors to manage and administer various contracts.
    • Assists with other contractual actions required to ensure overall management of contracts in a timely, accurate and effective manner in compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
    • Develops and prepares cost estimates, to include estimates for labor, subcontractor labor, travel, material, and other costs.
    • Participates in special projects as required.

    Education and Experience Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
    • 2+ years of experience with cradle to grave subcontract management, including procurement planning, pre-award, price and cost analyses, and post-award and closeout in a government or government support role.
    • Experience with a full range of subcontract types, including cost reimbursement, firm fixed price, incentive fee contracts, supply and service contracts, performance based services acquisitions, IDIQs, or multiple award contract.
    • Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and DoD 5000 series regulations and laws, executive orders, statutes, policies, principles of acquisition planning, and other requirements necessary to accomplish assigned duties.
    • Proficiency with Navy contracting procedures and regulations.
    • Proficiency with the complete Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat. 
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint is preferred.
    • Experience with CPSR’s and/or approved purchasing systems.
    • Proficient written and oral communications skills are required, as well as the ability to work independently and meet critical deadlines. 
    • Effective organizational skills also required; must have the ability to multi-task and meet tight-deadlines.
