  • Overview

    Zenetex specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. We have an opportunity for a Financial Analyst to support our Naval Air Systems Command Logistics and Industrial Operations Group (AIR-6.0) customer with financial management tasking related to the management, execution, reconciliation, and reporting of assigned program funds.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Collect and review financial data from a variety of sources
    • Create, maintain, and update financial databases and spreadsheets
    • Maintain appropriate records and documentation
    • Assist customer in managing, tracking, monitoring, and reporting financial data as requested, generating financial reports as required
    • Track performance to spend plans and budgets
    • Reconcile and resolve financial discrepancies for assigned program resources

    Education and Experience Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a business, management or technical discipline and a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in providing financial management support to a DON or DOD agency. An associate’s degree and 8 years of experience is required if no bachelor’s degree is held. Qualified candidates must have a total of 12 years of related experience with no formal secondary education.
    • Demonstrated business financial management skills supporting a Naval Air Systems Command and/or Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division program/project office or competency organization
    • High level of proficiency using the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
    • Experience with DON budget and financial execution systems and tools
    • Proven knowledge of the practices, procedures, and processes of financial analyses as well as any relevant laws, regulations, and policies
    • High level of proficiency with MS Excel and other financial reporting tools
    • Ability to effectively interact with government, military, and contractor personnel in a dynamic office setting
    • Ability to work independently with minimal direction or supervision

    Security Clearance

    • This position will require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. Active clearance highly desired.
