    ZENETEX has become a major force in the field of aircraft maintenance. We proudly support all four branches of the military in performing Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot level aircraft, ground vehicle, and component maintenance. We employ over 900 qualified Aircraft Mechanics across the United States and overseas. A new contract award has prompted the opportunity for an experienced CH-53 Super Stallion Aircraft Mechanic II, Avionics to support a new Contractor Field Team (CFT) at MCAS Miramar, CA. Work is scheduled to begin on 28 November 2018.


    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Performs integrated systems testing, calibration, alignment, troubleshooting and repair of airborne electronic flight control, navigational and heading, and communication systems on aircraft weapon systems
    • Installs electronic systems, components or sub-assemblies in aircraft
    • Performs pretest, operational (functional) or final testing of electronic systems, components or sub-assemblies
    • Performs the final tuning, alignment or calibration of electronic systems, components or sub-assemblies
    • Troubleshoots electronic systems, components or sub-assemblies to determine nature of malfunction and corrective action required
    • Interprets error data in order to properly install integrated electronic systems with minimum downtime
    • Tests integrated electronic systems by thoroughly analyzing operating trends and ensuring any repairs needed are accomplished
    • Uses automatic Test Equipment (ATE) to test complete electronic systems
    • Accurately calibrates integrated electronic systems by thoroughly analyzing operating trends and ensuring systems alignment results in acceptable operating parameters
    • Diagnoses malfunctions of integrated systems by thoroughly analyzing operating trends and ensuring repairs are accomplished without undue delay

    Education and Experience Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • A minimum of 4 years of aircraft avionics experience, with at least 2 years of experience with the CH-53 aircraft preferred

    Physical Demands


    • Work will require a high level of hand dexterity and finger use in both hands, close vision corrected/uncorrected to 20/20, prolonged periods of standing and sitting in combination with stooping, bending, reaching, pulling, and pushing, as well as the ability to lift 25lbs and over with assistance.

    Work Environment (ADA)


    • May be required to work in areas in the hangar and on the flight line that are noisy and dusty. May be exposed to moderate discomforts, such as heat, cold and wind. May be required to wear personal protective equipment, when applicable.



    Security Clearance

    • This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance to start.
