  • Position Overview

    ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. We have an opportunity for an Operations Analyst at Patuxent River, MD. We are looking for an experienced and technically competent operations analyst to work on a team that manages projects spanning a variety of security levels for a government program office. Military experience in tactical aircraft preferred.


    This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance. 


    • • Assist in evaluation of systems operational utility in various employment scenarios to produce analysis of system effectiveness and recommendations concerning tactics, CONOPS and development.
      • Assist in developing operator-in-the-loop and/or constructive modeling and simulation events/objectives in support of capability and CONOPS development.
      • Assist in analysis of system/subsystem/SoS/FoS design, development and testing to assess the adequacy of the system to meet technical and operational capability requirements.
      • Assist in evaluating platform, system, SoS and FoS logic to assess the capabilities and limitations of the system in various operational environments and scenarios against current, evolving, and future threats.
      • Assist in tasking to include Capability Based Analysis, Capability Gap Development, systems selections and justification.
      • Assist in requirements capture, requirements analysis, and concept of employment research.
      • Participate in system development meetings to include design reviews, test plan meetings, engineering and operational working groups and warfare planning reviews.
      • Participate in advanced concept studies and evaluations, which will be cited to justify future system upgrades and capability enhancements.
      • Work with planners to facilitate plan of action incorporation into the Program Integrated Master Schedule.
      • Use databases and MS Office products to manage, maintain and distribute technical and programmatic data, as directed by Program Manager, IPT and Functional Leads, and Configuration/Data Managers.
      • Coordinate with other military offices, Competency Aligned Organizations (CAO), joint services, contractors, and other external agencies.
      • Utilize government-furnished data to provide products such as briefings and presentations, project reports, illustrations, etc.



    • BS/BA in a technical or management field or equivalent experience. A BS/BA can be substituted with 4 additional years of related experience and an AA or AS degree. Or an additional 8 years of related experience.
    • 4 years of technical /management/development/ integration experience with aircraft, weapons, and/or operations with 3 of those years occurring within the last 3 years. Appropriate educational background may be substituted for experience.
    • Knowledge and capability in detailed development of CONOPS, tactics training, and procedure development.
    • Knowledge of DoD aviation systems and tactical development efforts.
    • Ability to perform data analysis.


    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic multiple security environment
    • Experience with NAVAIR Acquisition Programs
    • Experience with Microsoft office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
    • Experience with NAVAIR Program Office functions
    • Demonstrated written and oral communications
    • Strong organizational skills
    • A working knowledge of DOD program security policies and procedures
    • A working Knowledge of developing operator-in-the-loop and/or constructive modeling and simulation events/objectives in support of capability and CONOPS development
    • Military experience in Naval Platforms
