Position Overview

Practitioners of National Security are vital to the defense of our nation. ZENETEX takes pride in providing experts who bring specialized skills, techniques, and experience to the help solve the toughest issues facing the Intelligence Community. Our skilled workforce supports all phases of the Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (TCPED) cycle. We are always looking for Intelligence experts to help solve our customer’s needs and are actively reviewing resumes for the position of Targeting Analyst. In this position you will work on high priority subjects related to foreign targeting of US naval and maritime technologies.

 

Description

The Targeting Analyst will provide in-depth research and analysis into adversarial attempts to acquire dual-use US or western technologies in support of foreign weapons development programs. Specific responsibilities will include: 

  • Investigate adversarial weapons development programs to identify key research, production, and procurement entities
  • Research attempts by adversaries to acquire U.S. military or dual-use systems or components relevant weapons development programs.
  • Research adversarial procurement networks to determine their methodologies and observed priorities
  • Analyze patterns and anomalies in large amounts of information, conduct literary searches, and synthesize information to inform and advise leadership
  • Produce in-depth technical assessments of targeted U.S. technologies and the posed risks if obtained by foreign adversaries.
  • Develop a database repository to document and catalogue items discovered through research
  • Develop network analysis charts to visualize items stored in the database repository

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 3-5 years' experience as an all-source intelligence specialist or research Analyst
  • 3-5 years’ experience with naval weapons development and/or supply chain analysis
  • Proficiency in database and search tools, intelligence community standards, research and writing, security and classification standards and guidelines
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in effective communications (writing, speaking, briefing)

 

Desired Experience: 

  • 5-10 years’ experience with naval weapons development and/or supply chain analysis
  • Advanced degree in electrical or systems engineering
  • Knowledge in export controls and or technology transfer
  • Knowledge or experience in HUMINT
  • Knowledge or experience in Counterintelligence
  • Experience in supporting law enforcement
  • Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) knowledge or experience

 

Security Clearance

  • This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartment Information (TS/SCI). Due to the nature of this work, we are unable to consider applicants who do not hold this level of clearance.
